Al-Adab Al-Mufrad #278
Excellence in Character
The Arabic includes the chain of narration (sanad) and the collector's commentary; the English translation shows the Prophet's words only.
Anas said, "I served the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant
him peace, for ten years. He never said 'uff' to me and he never questioned me
about anything I had not done, asking, 'Why didn't you do it?' or questioned me about something
I had done, asking 'Why did you do that?'"
