Al-Adab Al-Mufrad #806
Sayings
The Arabic includes the chain of narration (sanad) and the collector's commentary; the English translation shows the Prophet's words only.
'Abdullah ibn Shaddad said, "I heard 'Ali, may Allah be pleased
with him, say, 'I did not see the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant
him peace, saying, ("May my father and mother be) your ransom" after Sa'd.
I heard him say to him, "May my father and mother be your ransom."'"
