An-Nawawi's 40 Hadith #16

Forty Hadith of an-Nawawi

The Arabic includes the chain of narration (sanad) and the collector's commentary; the English translation shows the Prophet's words only.

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): A man said to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), “Counsel me,” so he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Do not become angry.” The man repeated he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Do not become angry.”
