Business Transactions

وَعَنْ اِبْنِ عُمَرَ ، وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ -رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ- , عَنْ اَلنَّبِيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ : { لَا يَحِلُّ لِرَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يُعْطِيَ اَلْعَطِيَّةَ , ثُمَّ يَرْجِعَ فِيهَا ; إِلَّا اَلْوَالِدُ فِيمَا يُعْطِي وَلَدَهُ" } رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ , وَالْأَرْبَعَةُ , وَصَحَّحَهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ , وَابْنُ حِبَّانَ , وَالْحَاكِم ُ 1 .1 - صحيح . رواه أحمد ( 2 7 و 78 ) ، وأبو داود ( 3539 ) ، والنسائي ( 6 / 267 - 268 ) ، والترمذي ( 2132 ) ، وابن ماجه ( 2377 ) ، وابن حبان ( 5101 ) ، والحاكم ( 2 / 46 ) وزادوا جميعا إلا ابن ماجه : "ومثل الذي يعطي العطية ، ثم يرجع فيها كمثل الكلب، حتى إذا شبع قاء ، ثم عاد في قيئه". وقال الترمذي : " هذا حديث حسن صحيح ".
Narrated Ibn 'Umar and Ibn 'Abbas (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "It is not lawful for a Muslim man to give a gift and then take it back, except a father regarding what he gives a child."
