Business Transactions

وَعَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ ; { أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -جَعَلَ لِلْجَدَّةِ اَلسُّدُسَ , إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ دُونَهَا أُمٌّ } رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ , وَالنَّسَائِيُّ , وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ , وَابْنُ اَلْجَارُودِ , وَقَوَّاهُ اِبْنُ عَدِيٍّ 1 .1 - حسن . رواه أبو داود ( 2895 ) ، والنسائي في " الكبرى " (4 /73) ، وابن الجارود ( 960 ) ، وابن عدي في ط" الكامل " (4637) . وفي سنده أبو المنيب ؛ عبيد الله العتكي مختلف فيه . وقال ابن عدي : " ولأبي المنيب هذا أحاديث غير ما ذكرت ، وهو عندي لا بأس به ".
Narrated Ibn Buraidah (RA) on the authority of his father: The Prophet (ﷺ) appointed a sixth to a grandmother if no mother is left to inherit before her.
