Bulugh al-Maram #112

The Book of Purification

The Arabic includes the chain of narration (sanad) and the collector's commentary; the English translation shows the Prophet's words only.

وَأَخْرَجَ اَلطَّبَرَانِيُّ اَلنَّهْيَ عَن ْ 1‏ تَحْتِ اَلْأَشْجَارِ اَلْمُثْمِرَةِ, وَضَفَّةِ اَلنَّهْرِ الْجَارِي.‏ مِنْ حَدِيثِ اِبْنِ عُمَرَ بِسَنَدٍ ضَعِيف ٍ 2‏ .‏‏1 ‏- أي: التخلي.‏‏2 ‏- منكر.‏ رواه الطبراني بتمامه في "الأوسط" كما في مجمع البحرين (349)‏، وفي "الكبير" الشطر الأخير منه كما في "مجمع الزوائد" (104)‏.‏
At-Tabarani also narrated on the authority of Ibn ‘Umar (with a weak chain of narrators), the prohibition of relieving oneself under fruit trees and beside the bank of a flowing river.
