Marriage

وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ : { خُيِّرَتْ بَرِيرَةُ عَلَى زَوْجِهَا حِينَ عَتَقَتْ } . مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ فِي حَدِيثٍ طَوِيلٍ 1 .1 - صحيح . رواه البخاري ( 5097 ) ، ومسلم ( 1504 ) ( 14 ) واللفظ لمسلم.
Narrated 'Aishah (RA): Barirah was given her choice regarding her husband (to remain with him or separate) when she was freed.
