Marriage

وَعَنْ عَلَيٍّ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ : { لَا يَكُونُ اَلْمَهْرُ أَقَلَّ مِنْ عَشَرَةِ دَرَاهِمَ } . أَخْرَجَهُ اَلدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ مَوْقُوفًا , وَفِي سَنَدِهِ مَقَالٌ 1 .1 - ضعيف . رواه الدارقطني في " السنن " ( 3 / 245 / رقم 13 ) من طريق داود الأودي ، عن الشعبي قال : قال علي : فذكره . قلت : داود : هو ابن يزيد وهو " ضعيف " كما في " التقريب " ، والشعبي لم يسمع من علي.
Narrated 'Ali (RA): The dowry should not be less than ten Dirhams.
