Bulugh al-Maram #1207
Marriage
The Arabic includes the chain of narration (sanad) and the collector's commentary; the English translation shows the Prophet's words only.
وَأَصْلُ اَلْقِصَّةِ فِي
" اَلصَّحِيحِ " مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي أُسَيْدٍ اَلسَّاعِدِيِّ 1 .1 - البخاري برقم ( 5255 ) - وفيه : " وقد أتي بالجونية . . . فلما دخل عليها النبي -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قال : "هبي نفسك لي" . قالت : وهل تهب الملكة نفسها للسوقة ؟ قال : "فأهوى بيده يضع يده عليها لتسكن". فقالت : أعوذ بالله منك . فقال : "قد عذت بمعاذ" . ثم خرج علينا . فقال : يا أبا أسيد ! اكسها رازقيتين ، وألحقها بأهلها ".
The origin of the aforesaid story is found in the Sahih of al-Bukhari from Abu Usaid as-Sa'idi's Hadith.
