Marriage
The Arabic includes the chain of narration (sanad) and the collector's commentary; the English translation shows the Prophet's words only.
وَلِأَبِي دَاوُدَ, وَالنَّسَائِيِّ مِنْ اَلزِّيَادَةِ: { وَلَا تَخْتَضِبْ } 11 - ووقع في "أ": "ولا تخطب"، وجاء على هامش هذه النسخة: قوله: "ولا تخطب" كذا في الأصل، والظاهر أنه تصحيف، والصحيح: "لا تختضب" كما هو ثابت في النسخة المصححة المقروءة على مشايخ. قلت: وهو الذي في "الأصل" وفي سنن أبي داود أيضا.
