Marriage

وَعَنْ اَلْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبِ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا; { أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَضَى فِي اِبْنَةِ حَمْزَةَ لِخَالَتِهَا, وَقَالَ: اَلْخَالَةُ بِمَنْزِلَةِ اَلْأُمِّ. } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلْبُخَارِيُّ 1 .1 - صحيح. وهو قطعة من حديث رواه البخاري (2699).
Narrated al-Bara bin 'Azib (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) gave a ruling regarding Hamza's daughter in favor of her maternal aunt, saying, "The maternal aunt is in the position of the mother."
