Jihad
The Arabic includes the chain of narration (sanad) and the collector's commentary; the English translation shows the Prophet's words only.
وَعَنْ اِبْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا; { أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -رَأَى اِمْرَأَةً مَقْتُولَةً فِي بَعْضِ مَغَازِيهِ, فَأَنْكَرَ قَتْلَ اَلنِّسَاءِ وَالصِّبْيَانِ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه البخاري ( 3014 )، ومسلم ( 1774 )، وفي رواية لهما أيضا: " فنهى عن قتل النساء والصبيان".
Ibn 'Umar (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saw a woman who was killed in one of his expeditions, so he disapproved the killing of women and children. Agreed upon.
