Bulugh al-Maram #150
The Book of Purification
The Arabic includes the chain of narration (sanad) and the collector's commentary; the English translation shows the Prophet's words only.
وَعَنْهَا قَالَتْ: { كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ, تَخْتَلِفُ أَيْدِينَا فِيهِ مِنَ اَلْجَنَابَةِ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْه ِ 1 .
زَادَ اِبْنُ حِبَّانَ: وَتَلْتَقِ ي 2 .1 - صحيح. رواه البخاري (261)، ومسلم (321) (45)، وليس عند البخاري لفظه: "من الجنابة ".
2 - ابن حبان برقم (1111) وسندها صحيح، إلا أن الحافظ في "الفتح" (1/373) مال إلى أنها مدرجة.
Narrated `A'ishah (RAA): I and Allah's Messenger (Peace be upon him) took a Ghusl (bath) due to sexual impurity from the same vessel and our hands alternated into it.
Ibn Hibban added "and (our hands) met."
