Food
The Arabic includes the chain of narration (sanad) and the collector's commentary; the English translation shows the Prophet's words only.
وَلَهُ شَاهِدٌ عِنْدَ أَبِي دَاوُدَ فِي "مَرَاسِيلِهِ" بِلَفْظِ: { "ذَبِيحَةُ اَلْمُسْلِمِ حَلَالٌ, ذَكَرَ اِسْمَ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهَا أَوْ لَمْ يَذْكُرْ" } وَرِجَالُهُ مُوَثَّقُونَ (1761) .2 - ضعيف رواه أبو داود في "المراسيل" ( 378 ) عن الصلت السدوسي، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: فذكره. قلت: وهذا مع كونه مرسلا، فمرسله أيضا "مجهول".
Abu Dawud narrated a similar hadith that reads, "The slaughtering (of an animal) by any Muslim is Halal (lawful) whether or not he mentioned Allah's name over it." Its narrators are reliable.
