وَعَنْ عُمَرَ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: { كَانَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -إِذَا مَدَّ يَدَيْهِ فِي اَلدُّعَاءِ, لَمْ يَرُدَّهُمَا, حَتَّى يَمْسَحَ بِهِمَا وَجْهَهُ } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ . 1 .1 - منكر. رواه الترمذي (3386) وقال:" هذا حديث صحيح غريب، لا نعرفه إلا من حديث حماد بن عيسى، وقد تفرد به، وهو قليل الحديث، وقد حدث عنه الناس". قلت: وهو ضعيف، كما ذهب إلى ذلك الحافظ نفسه في" التقريب"، وقال أبو داود:" ضعيف، روى أحاديث مناكير". قلت: وهذا الحديث لا شك أنه من تلك المناكير، إذ رفع اليدين في الدعاء ثابتة برواية الثقات، ولم يرد في شيء من ذلك مسح الوجه.
'Umar (RAA) narrated, ‘When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) raised his hands in supplication, he did not lower them till he wiped his face with them.’ Related by At-Tirmidhi.
