Bulugh al-Maram #220
The Book of Prayer
The Arabic includes the chain of narration (sanad) and the collector's commentary; the English translation shows the Prophet's words only.
وَلِأَبِي دَاوُدَ: { لَوَى عُنُقَهُ, لَمَّا بَلَغَ
"حَيَّ عَلَى اَلصَّلَاةِ " يَمِينًا وَشِمَالاً وَلَمْ يَسْتَدِرْ } 1 .1 - أبو داود (520) وهو منكر .
And also a narration of Abu Dawud - 'he turned his neck to the right and left when he reached Haiya 'alas-Salah (Come to the prayer) and did not turn his body'.
