The Book of Prayer
The Arabic includes the chain of narration (sanad) and the collector's commentary; the English translation shows the Prophet's words only.
وَلَهُ عَنْ اِبْنِ عُمَرَ: { جَمَعَ بَيْنَ اَلْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ بِإِقَامَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ } 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه مسلم (1288) (289 و 290) وقوله: "بإقامة واحدة" أي: لكل صلاة كما هي رواية أبي داود (1928)، وهذا الحمل لرواية مسلم أولى من القول بشذوذها. وأما رواية أبي داود: "ولم يناد في واحدة منهما" فهي شاذة. والله أعلم.
Muslim also reported from Ibn 'Umar (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) combined the Maghrib and 'Isha prayers with one Iqamah.
