The Book of Prayer

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ -رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا- قَالَتْ : { أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -بِبِنَاءِ اَلْمَسَاجِدِ فِي اَلدُّورِ , وَأَنْ تُنَظَّفَ , وَتُطَيَّبَ. } رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ , وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ , وَاَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ , وَصَحَّحَ إِرْسَالَهُ . 11 - صحيح . رواه أحمد (6/279) ، وأبو داود (455) ، والترمذي (594) ، وتعليل الترمذي إياه بالإرسال ليس بشيء . "فائدة" : قوله : "ببناء المساجد في الدور " قال سفيان بن عيينة : يعني : في القبائل .
Narrated 'Aishah (RA): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ordered that the mosques be built in residential districts and that it be cleaned and perfumed.
