The Book of Prayer
The Arabic includes the chain of narration (sanad) and the collector's commentary; the English translation shows the Prophet's words only.
وَعَنْهُ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ إِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ مَنْ يَبِيعُ , أَوْ يَبْتَاعُ فِي اَلْمَسْجِدِ , فَقُولُوا : لَا أَرْبَحَ اَللَّهُ تِجَارَتَكَ } رَوَاهُ النَّسَائِيُّ , وَاَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَحَسَّنَهُ . 11 - صحيح . رواه الترمذي (1321) . والنسائي في "عمل اليوم والليلة" (176) وزادا : "وإذا رأيتم من ينشد ضالة في المسجد ، فقولوا : لا رد الله عليك " . وقال الترمذي : "حسن غريب" .
Narrated : Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "If you see someone buying or selling inside the mosque, say: 'May Allah not make your trading profitable!'"
