The Book of Purification

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- قَالَ: قَالَتْ خَوْلَةُ: { يَا رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ, فَإِنْ لَمْ يَذْهَبْ اَلدَّمُ? قَالَ: "يَكْفِيكِ اَلْمَاءُ, وَلَا يَضُرُّكِ أَثَرُهُ" } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ, وَسَنَدُهُ ضَعِيف ٌ 1‏ .‏‏1 ‏- حسن.‏ رواه أبو داود (365)‏ وغيره.‏ "تنبيه" عزو الحافظ الحديث للترمذي إنما هو من باب الوهم وإن تبعه على ذلك غيره.‏ وأما تضعيفه لسند الحديث فلعلة غير قادحة.‏
Narrated Abu Huraira (rad): Khaula said, “O Messenger of Allah, suppose the (trace of) the blood does not go?” He said, “(Washing it with) water will suffice you and its trace won’t harm you”. .
