The Book of Purification

وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا -فِي صِفَةِ اَلْوُضُوءِ- قَالَ: { ثُمَّ مَسَحَ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -بِرَأْسِهِ, وَأَدْخَلَ إِصْبَعَيْهِ اَلسَّبَّاحَتَيْنِ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ, وَمَسَحَ بِإِبْهَامَيْهِ ظَاهِرَ أُذُنَيْهِ. } أَخْرَجَهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَالنَّسَائِيُّ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ خُزَيْمَة َ 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه أبو داود (135)، والنسائي (1/88) من طريق عمرو بن شعيب، عن أبيه، عن جده، وله شواهد أخرى، إلا أن في هذا الحديث عند أبي داود لفظة لا تصح كما في "الأصل". وصحح الحديث ابن خزيمة (174) ولكن ليس عنده محل الشاهد.
Narrated Abdullah bin ‘Amr (rad) regarding the description of the ablution: “Then he (Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)) wiped his head, inserted his index finger in his ears and wiped the exterior of his ears with thumbs”. .
