The Book of Prayer

وَعَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: { مَا كُنَّا نَقِيلُ وَلَا نَتَغَدَّى إِلَّا بَعْدَ اَلْجُمُعَةِ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ, وَاللَّفْظُ لِمُسْلِمٍ . 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه البخاري (939)، ومسلم (859). "تنبيه": لا فائدة من قول الحافظ "واللفظ لمسلم" إذ هو عند البخاري أيضا بنفس اللفظ، بل وفي غير موطن، منها الموطن المذكور.
Narrated Sahl bin Sa'd (RA): We would not have a siesta (mid-day nap) nor lunch till after the Friday prayer.
