The Book of Prayer
The Arabic includes the chain of narration (sanad) and the collector's commentary; the English translation shows the Prophet's words only.
وَعَنِ اِبْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ صَلَاةُ اَلْخَوْفِ رَكْعَةٌ عَلَى أَيِّ وَجْهٍ كَانَ } رَوَاهُ اَلْبَزَّارُ بِإِسْنَادٍ ضَعِيفٍ 1 .1 - منكر. رواه البزار (678 كشف) وعنده زيادة: "الرجل تجزئ عنه" وعنده أيضا "صلاة المسابقة" مكان "صلاة الخوف".
Narrated Ibn 'Umar (RA): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "The prayer in time of danger is one Rak'ah, in whatever manner it is (performed)."
