The Book of Purification

وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ - رضى الله عنه - -فِي صِفَةِ اَلْوُضُوءِ- { ثُمَّ تَمَضْمَضَ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -وَاسْتَنْثَرَ ثَلَاثًا, يُمَضْمِضُ وَيَنْثِرُ مِنْ اَلْكَفِّ اَلَّذِي يَأْخُذُ مِنْهُ اَلْمَاءَ } أَخْرَجَهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالنَّسَائِيّ ُ 1 .1 - صحيح. وهو جزء من الحديث المتقدم برقم (34).
Narrated ‘Ali (rad) regarding performance of Wudu: The Prophet (ﷺ) rinsed his mouth and sniffed and blew (his nose) with water three times. He sniffed up and blew his nose with the same hand from which he took the water.
