The Book of Prayer

وَعَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى - رضى الله عنه - أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { أُحِلَّ اَلذَّهَبُ وَالْحَرِيرُ لِإِنَاثِ أُمَّتِي, وَحُرِّمَ عَلَى ذُكُورِهِمْ. } 1 . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ, وَالنَّسَائِيُّ, وَاَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَصَحَّحَهُ 2 .1 - كذا في"الأصلين": وفي المصادر"ذكورها".2 - صحيح. رواه أحمد (4/394 و 407)، والنسائي (8/161)، والترمذي (1720). وقال الترمذي: "حديث أبي موسى حديث حسن صحيح". قلت: وبشواهده المذكورة في "الأصل".
Narrated Abu Musa (RA): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "Gold and silk are lawful for the females among my followers, but prohibited to the males".
