Fasting
The Arabic includes the chain of narration (sanad) and the collector's commentary; the English translation shows the Prophet's words only.
وَلِلتِّرْمِذِيِّ: مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - عَنِ اَلنَّبِيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { قَالَ اَللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَحَبُّ عِبَادِي إِلَيَّ أَعْجَلُهُمْ فِطْرًا } 1 .1 - ضعيف: رواه الترمذي ( 700 ) وقد بينت علته في " الأصل " وفي " الصيام " للفريابي رقم ( 33 ) وبينت هناك ما في كلام الشيخ أحمد شاكر -رحمه الله- في تعليقه على " المسند " ( 12 / 232 ) من وهم وتساهل.
Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated, ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Allah, the Most Exalted said: “Those among My servants, who hasten to break their fast, are the most beloved (or dearest)to Me.” Related by At-Tirmidhi.
