Business Transactions
The Arabic includes the chain of narration (sanad) and the collector's commentary; the English translation shows the Prophet's words only.
وَلِأَحْمَدَ: نَحْوُهُ مِنْ رِوَايَةِ عَطَاءٍ, وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ 1 وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ اَلْقَطَّانِ 2 .1 - أحمد في " المسند " رقم ( 4825 ). قلت: وله طريق ثالث. رواه أحمد رقم ( 5007 ) من طريق شهر بن حوشب، عن ابن عمر. والحديث صحيح بهذه الطرق.2 - بيان الوهم والإيهام ( 2 / 151 / 2 ) وإلى هذا أيضا ذهب غيره من أهل العلم كابن تيمية والشوكاني -رحمهما الله-، وشيخنا -حفظه الله تعالى-.
Ahmad reported something similar from the narration of 'Ata. Its narrators are reliable and Ibn al-Qattan graded it Sahih (authentic).
