حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبَّادٍ أَبُو عَبَّادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ يَحْيَى، مِنْ وَلَدِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ مَا كَانَ الذِّرَاعُ أَحَبَّ اللَّحْمِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَلَكِنْ كَانَ لاَ يَجِدُ اللَّحْمَ إِلاَّ غِبًّا فَكَانَ يُعَجَّلُ إِلَيْهِ لأَنَّهُ أَعْجَلُهَا نُضْجًا ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ‏.‏
"The foreleg was not the part of the meat that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) liked most, but he would not get meat but occasionally. So it would be hastened to him because it cooks quickly." This Hadith is Hasan Gharib, we do not know of it except from this route.

Context

In this hadith narrated by 'Aishah, we learn about the Prophet Muhammad's (ﷺ) preference for the foreleg of meat, although he did not often have access to meat. The takeaway is that even though he had a favorite part, he appreciated the opportunity to enjoy it when it was available, highlighting the importance of gratitude and moderation in consumption.

Say, "I do not find within that which was revealed to me [anything] forbidden to one who would eat it unless it be a dead animal or blood spilled out or the flesh of swine - for indeed, it is impure - or it be [that slaughtered in] disobedience, dedicated to other than Allah. But whoever is forced [by necessity], neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit], then indeed, your Lord is Forgiving and Merciful."
