حَدَّثَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ مِرْآةُ أَخِيهِ فَإِنْ رَأَى بِهِ أَذًى فَلْيُمِطْهُ عَنْهُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَيَحْيَى بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ضَعَّفَهُ شُعْبَةُ ‏.‏ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ ‏.‏
: "Indeed (each) one of you is the reflection of his brother. So if he sees something harmful in him, then let him remove it from him."
Narrated by Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:

Say, "I only advise you of one [thing] - that you stand for Allah, [seeking truth] in pairs and individually, and then give thought." There is not in your companion any madness. He is only a warner to you before a severe punishment.

And not equal are the good deed and the bad. Repel [evil] by that [deed] which is better; and thereupon the one whom between you and him is enmity [will become] as though he was a devoted friend.

Whoever does a good deed - it is for himself; and whoever does evil - it is against the self. Then to your Lord you will be returned.
