حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍِ ‏:‏ ‏(‏وإنْ مِنْكُمْ إِلاَّ وَارِدُهَا ‏)‏ قَالَ يَرِدُونَهَا ثُمَّ يَصْدُرُونَ بِأَعْمَالِهِمْ ‏.‏ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، بِمِثْلِهِ ‏.‏ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قُلْتُ لِشُعْبَةَ إِنَّ إِسْرَائِيلَ حَدَّثَنِي عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ عَنْ مُرَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏.‏ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنَ السُّدِّيِّ مَرْفُوعًا وَلَكِنِّي عَمْدًا أَدَعُهُ ‏.‏
from As-Suffi from Murrah: "'Abdullah said: 'There is not one of you but will pass over it (19:71) - They pass over it, then they avert it based upon their deeds.'"

O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah].

We said, "Go down from it, all of you. And when guidance comes to you from Me, whoever follows My guidance - there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.

تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌۭ قَدْ خَلَتْ ۖ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ ۖ وَلَا تُسْـَٔلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
That is a nation which has passed on. It will have [the consequence of] what it earned, and you will have what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do.
