Mishkat al-Masabih #1817
Zakat
The Arabic includes the chain of narration (sanad) and the collector's commentary; the English translation shows the Prophet's words only.
وَعَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ عَلِّمْنِي شَيْئًا أَنْتَفِعْ بِهِ قَالَ: «اعْزِلِ الْأَذَى عَنْ طَرِيقِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ» . رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
وَسَنَذْكُرُ حَدِيث عدي ابْن حَاتِمٍ: «اتَّقُوا النَّارَ» فِي بَابِ عَلَامَاتِ النُّبُوَّةِ
Abu Barza said that when he asked God’s Prophet to teach him something from which he would receive benefit he told him to remove things which caused annoyance to Muslims from their path.
Muslim transmitted it.
