Supplications

وَعَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَالَ: مَا عَمِلَ الْعَبْدُ عَمَلًا أَنْجَى لَهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ اللَّهِ مِنْ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ. رَوَاهُ مَالِكٌ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَه
Mu'adh b. Jabal said, “A man does nothing more calculated to rescue him from God’s punishment than making mention of God.”
Malik, Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah transmitted it.
