The Rites of Pilgrimage

The Arabic includes the chain of narration (sanad) and the collector's commentary; the English translation shows the Prophet's words only.

وَعَن يحيى بن الْحصين عَن جدته أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ دَعَا لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ ثَلَاثًا وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ مرّة وَاحِدَة. رَوَاهُ مُسلم
Yahya b. al-Husain quoted his grandmother as saying she heard the Prophet at the Farewell Pilgrimage make supplication three.times for those who had their heads shaved and once for those who clipped their hair. Muslim trahsmitted it.
