Purification
The Arabic includes the chain of narration (sanad) and the collector's commentary; the English translation shows the Prophet's words only.
وَعَن الْمُغيرَة بن شُعْبَة قَالَ: إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ فَمَسَحَ بِنَاصِيَتِهِ وَعَلَى الْعِمَامَةِ وَعَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ. رَوَاهُ مُسلم
Al-Mughira b. Shu'ba said that the Prophet performed ablution, wiping his forelock and over his turban and shoes.
Muslim transmitted it.
