Mishkat al-Masabih #3838
Jihad

عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:
" إِنَّ اللَّهَ فَضَّلَنِي عَلَى الْأَنْبِيَاءِ أَوْ قَالَ: فَضَّلَ أُمَّتِي عَلَى الْأُمَمِ وأحلَّ لنا الْغَنَائِم ". رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
Abu Umama reported the Prophet as saying, “God has given me superiority over the prophets,” or as saying, “has given my people superiority over other peoples and made spoils lawful to us.”
Tirmidhi transmitted it.
