Musnad `Umar b. al-Khattab (ra)

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَقْبَلَ اللَّيْلُ وَأَدْبَرَ النَّهَارُ وَغَابَتْ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَفْطَرْتَ‏.‏
It was narrated that 'Umar bin al­-Khattab (رضي الله عنه) said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“When night comes and day departs, and the sun sets, then (it is time to) break your fast.`
