Musnad `Umar b. al-Khattab (ra)

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنْبَأَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَلْ يَنَامُ أَحَدُنَا وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَيَتَوَضَّأُ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ.
It was narrated from Ibn `Umar that `Umar رضي الله عنه asked the Prophet (ﷺ): Can one of us sleep if he is junub? He said: `Yes, if he does wudoo’ as for prayer.`
It was narrated from Ibn `Umar that `Umar asked the Prophet (ﷺ)... a similar hadeeth.
