Musnad `Umar b. al-Khattab (ra)

حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّا لَا نُورَثُ مَا تَرَكْنَا صَدَقَةٌ.
It was narrated that ‘Umar said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: `We are not to be inherited from; what we leave behind is charity.`
