Musnad Uthman ibn Affan
`Abdullah bin ‘AbdurRahman bin Abi Dhubab narrated from his father that ‘Uthman bin ‘Affan (رضي الله عنه) prayed four rak`ahs in Mina and the people objected to that. He said: O people, I have taken a wife in Makkah since I came here, and I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)say: “Whoever takes a wife in a city should offer the prayer of one who is a resident (i.e., in full).
