Musnad 'Ali Ibn Abi Talib

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ سَمِعْت أَبِي يَقُولُ لَيْسَ بِالْكُوفَةِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ حَدِيثٌ أَصَحُّ مِنْ هَذَا.
It was narrated that ‘Ali said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade gourds and varnished jars.
