Hajj

وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّاسَ، كَانُوا إِذَا رَمَوُا الْجِمَارَ مَشَوْا ذَاهِبِينَ وَرَاجِعِينَ وَأَوَّلُ مَنْ رَكِبَ مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ .
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abd ar-Rahman ibn Qasim from
his father that when people went to stone the jamras they would walk
both going there and coming back. The first one to ride was Muawiya
ibn Abi Sufyan.
