Riyad as-Salihin #1855

The Book of Miscellany

The Arabic includes the chain of narration (sanad) and the collector's commentary; the English translation shows the Prophet's words only.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: A man asked the Prophet (ﷺ) to give him advice, and he (ﷺ) said, "Do not get angry." The man repeated that several times and he (ﷺ) replied (every time), "Do not get angry.".
