حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ‏ "‏ الْفِتْنَةُ مِنْ هَا هُنَا ‏"‏‏.‏ وَأَشَارَ إِلَى الْمَشْرِقِ‏.‏
I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "Afflictions will emerge from here," pointing towards the East.

The foolish among the people will say, "What has turned them away from their qiblah, which they used to face?" Say, "To Allah belongs the east and the west. He guides whom He wills to a straight path."
