Sahih Muslim #4641

The Book on Government
Sahih

The Arabic includes the chain of narration (sanad) and the collector's commentary; the English translation shows the Prophet's words only.

The same tradition has been transmitted by a different chain of narrators.

Context

This hadith emphasizes the importance of reliable transmission in Islamic teachings. It highlights that the same tradition can be conveyed through different chains of narrators, which reinforces the credibility of the message. The integrity of hadith transmission is crucial for preserving the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).

Modern Application

In today's world, the concept of reliable sources is vital, especially with the rise of misinformation. Just as hadiths are carefully transmitted, individuals should verify information before sharing it, ensuring that the truth is upheld in personal and communal discourse.
