This hadith from Sahih Muslim (Book of The Book of Virtues), narrated by Sa'd b. Abu Waqqas reported:, states: "I saw on the right side of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and on his left side two persons with white clothes on the Day of Uhtid fighting a desperate fight, and I saw them neither before nor after that."

وَحَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ، بْنُ سَعْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، قَالَ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ عَنْ يَمِينِ، رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ رَجُلَيْنِ عَلَيْهِمَا ثِيَابٌ بِيضٌ يُقَاتِلاَنِ عَنْهُ كَأَشَدِّ الْقِتَالِ مَا رَأَيْتُهُمَا قَبْلُ وَلاَ بَعْدُ ‏.‏

قَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ ءَايَةٌۭ فِى فِئَتَيْنِ ٱلْتَقَتَا ۖ فِئَةٌۭ تُقَٰتِلُ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَأُخْرَىٰ كَافِرَةٌۭ يَرَوْنَهُم مِّثْلَيْهِمْ رَأْىَ ٱلْعَيْنِ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ يُؤَيِّدُ بِنَصْرِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةًۭ لِّأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَبْصَٰرِ

Already there has been for you a sign in the two armies which met - one fighting in the cause of Allah and another of disbelievers. They saw them [to be] twice their [own] number by [their] eyesight. But Allah supports with His victory whom He wills. Indeed in that is a lesson for those of vision.

وَمَآ أَصَٰبَكُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْتَقَى ٱلْجَمْعَانِ فَبِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

And what struck you on the day the two armies met was by permission of Allah that He might make evident the [true] believers.

سُورَةُ الوَاقِعَةِ

Al-Waaqia (The Inevitable)

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

وَأَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْيَمِينِ مَآ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْيَمِينِ

The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right?

فَأَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَيْمَنَةِ مَآ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَيْمَنَةِ

Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right?

سُورَةُ البَلَدِ

Al-Balad (The City)

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَيْمَنَةِ

Those are the companions of the right.
