The Book of the Merits of the Companions

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ، بَشَّارٍ جَمِيعًا عَنِ ابْنِ مَهْدِيٍّ، قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ، الْجَوْنِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، قَالَ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ ائْتِ قَوْمَكَ فَقُلْ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ أَسْلَمُ سَالَمَهَا اللَّهُ وَغِفَارُ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهَا ‏"‏ ‏.‏
To the tribe of Aslam Allah has granted safety and to the tribe of Ghifar Allah has granted pardon.
Narrated by Abu Dharr reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
