The Book of Repentance

حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ سَبَقَتْ رَحْمَتِي غَضَبِي ‏"‏ ‏.‏
Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said: My mercy excels My wrath.
Narrated by Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
