وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَشْجَعِيُّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ غَيْرَ أَنَّ فِي، حَدِيثِهِمَا عَنْ سُفْيَانَ وَمَا شَبِعْنَا مِنَ الأَسْوَدَيْنِ ‏.‏
" We could not afford to eat to the fill even dates and water."

Al-Muddaththir (The Cloaked One)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
1 ayah
وَلَمْ نَكُ نُطْعِمُ ٱلْمِسْكِينَ
Nor did we used to feed the poor.
سُورَةُ الغَاشِيَةِ
Al-Ghaashiya (The Overwhelming)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
1 ayah
لَّا يُسْمِنُ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِن جُوعٍۢ
Which neither nourishes nor avails against hunger.
