Shama'il Muhammadiyah #153

What Rasoolullah Would Eat with Bread

The Arabic includes the chain of narration (sanad) and the collector's commentary; the English translation shows the Prophet's words only.

'Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah the Exalted be well pleased with him) said: “Allah’s Messenger said (Allah bless him and give him peace): ‘Eat oil, and anoint with it, for it is from a blessed tree'!”
