Rasoolullah Using 'Itr

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ، وَعَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالا: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ الصَّوَّافُ، عَنْ حَنَانٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: إِذَا أُعْطِيَ أَحَدُكُمُ الرَّيْحَانَ فَلا يَرُدُّهُ، فَإِنَّهُ خَرَجَ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ.
Abu 'Uthman al-Hindi said: “Allah’s Messenger said (Allah bless him and give him peace): ‘If someone is given sweet basil, he should not reject it, for it comes from the Garden of Paradise!’"
